The Keonjhar Forest Division has initiated an educational programme titled “WILD–ATEI” for school and college students with the objective of connecting young minds to nature, creating awareness about the importance of biodiversity and encouraging active participation in wildlife and environmental conservation. Under this programme, a dedicated forest guide will be provided for each group consisting of a maximum of 36 members (33 students + 3 teachers) to ensure the visit is both educational and impactful. Prior registration is mandatory and all Government Schools and Colleges are eligible to participate. Institutions wishing to avail the programme must submit a hard copy application on official school or college letterhead addressed to the Forest Range Officer, Ghatgaon Range under the Divisional Forest Officer, Keonjhar Forest Division, clearly mentioning the number of students, their age group, class and proposed date of visit to facilitate proper organisation of the programme.
